Description
AG Engineers offers Wear strips, sliding supports and guides, as well as curved and straight tracks that are extruded or machined, are used in many industries, including bottling, packaging, pharmaceutics, ceramics, glass, food processing, paper, etc. These items represent an ideal complement to modular belts, slat and conveyor chains and timing belts used to reduce wear or erosion in the mechanical systems, thereby increasing life and performance characteristics & reduced maintenance.
The plast material used is a polyethylene (PE) with a high molecular weight, obtained through a low pressure polymerization process. The high molecular weight means that mechanical features are also increased, such as: impact resistance, tensile strength at high temperatures, and energy absorption under high stress levels.
The machined components are made on latest router machine working on all type of plastic material PET, ABS, PVC, Nylon and generation UHMWPE (Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene)strips next and guides which can be machine in standard shapes and customised as per Users/OEMs drawings.
Key features
- Low coefficient of friction
- Self-lubricating
- Good vibration and noise absorption
- High wear resistance
- High chemical resistance, no corrosion
- No moisture absorption
- High dielectric strength
- High impact and fracture strength
UHMWPE CHAIN GUIDES
Conveying Components & Industrial Chain Guides for Roller Chains: Industrial chain guides are available in UHMWPE, which meets guidelines for food handling, including those from FDA, USDA and 3-A Dairy. UHMWPE self lubricating surface minimizes friction and extends chain life. UHMWPE industrial chain guides are quiet, reduce noise and are made for use with plastic or metal chains.
APPLICATIONS
Wear strips, sliding supports and guides, as well as curved and straight tracks that are extruded or machined, are used in many industries, including bottling, packaging, mechanical, pharmaceutics, ceramics, glass, food processing, paper, etc. UHMWPE offers impact resistance, tensile strength at high temperatures, and energy absorption under high stress levels
COMMON INDUSTRIES:
There are a variety of industries that utilize UHMW-PE which is highly versatile plastic available at economical cost for their equipment because of its wear, corrosion and friction resistance. UHMW-PE absorbs very low moisture and is also available in FDA compliant grades.
Some industries include:
1.Food Processing
2.Material Handling
3.Packaging
4.Conveyor Systems
5.Marine
6.WasteWater Treatment Facilities
